Since 1960, World Shipping has supported international shippers and receivers by offering a broad mix of logistics and brokerage services, including freight forwarding, ocean freight, trucking, rail operations, warehousing and distribution, bulk liquid logistics, and customs house brokerage.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, World Shipping maintains a presence in Rocky River and is part of The World Group of Companies, which includes ContainerPort Group, United World Line, and World Distribution Services. In the maritime transportation sector, World Shipping acts as a third-party logistics and port-services provider focused on international cargo flows in the Great Lakes, serving shippers and receivers with integrated operations. A notable recent development is the June 2026 sale of assets to RBW Logistics, LLC, through which RBW expanded its national footprint by acquiring World Group’s warehousing business.
