World's Children is a small nonprofit based in Sisters, Oregon, that partners with trusted local organizations to provide safety and shelter, nutritious food, education, and emotional support for vulnerable children. For more than 60 years, the organization has supported children facing poverty, abandonment, and hardship by working directly with in-country care centers and grassroots groups across India, Mexico, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Ukraine. Its approach emphasizes sustainability, cultural rootedness, and responsiveness to each child's needs. The group relies on donors and partners worldwide to help build futures where children not only survive but grow up safe, healthy, educated, and hopeful. A small team drives its work. In 2025, World's Children partnered with CyberBORN to fundraise for a new safety gate at Balavikasitha.
