WorldTeach was founded in 1986 by a group of Harvard graduates determined to advance education in places lacking teachers and educational resources. We now send 400 volunteers and fellows each year to work alongside local schools and host communities in countries around the world. Since inception, we have placed over 7,500 volunteers in 28 countries, providing them with the teacher training, language preparation and field support necessary to create lasting impact on local communities.
