Worldwide Cancer Research funds the most innovative discovery research ideas to start new cures for any type of cancer, anywhere in the world. 

We are currently funding more than 100 research projects, worth a collective £20 million, with the potential to change the course of cancer research by exploring ways to prevent the disease, and discover more effective and kinder treatments for patients.

Years of collaborative and pioneering research has led to incredible breakthroughs and, since Worldwide Cancer Research was founded in 1979, cancer survival rates in the UK have doubled. But it is still one of the leading causes of death worldwide, and there is much more for us to do.
