WorldWideWomen is an exciting new social enterprise company dedicated to building a global movement for women's and girls' equality through technology, philanthropy and advocacy. Our vision is to build a powerful for-profit business, worldwidewomen.co, that will fund both our philanthropic efforts to support women and girls though the work of our WorldWideWomen Foundation, and our advocacy goals to drive legislative changes that improve the civil and human rights of women in the US and around the world through the work of our soon to be formed, WorldWideWomen Action Network. We have created the first-ever online global resource center where millions of women and girls can come everyday to discover valuable resources that support their lives, connect with women around the world, and collaborate to solve issues that impact our global community of women. Our goal is to become the primary global source of information and community for women. We will offer a growing array of services and benefits that are relevant and valuable to women and girls around the world. Our first service is an easy-to-use global directory of the many thousands of organizations, programs and services offered exclusively for women. We are launching with close to 6,000 organizations in 18 major cities in Asia, Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, and the United States. New services will be added as we grow-- forums, a job and resume board, e-commerce, online classes, and girls' festivals on the ground in major cities around the world. Our first WorldWideWomen Girls' Festival to celebrate our launch was held this October in San Francisco and attracted over 5,000 girls and their families.
