Wright Career College is an educational institution based in Overland Park, Kansas, focused on education administration programs. The school traces its origins to 1921 when it was founded to train typists for Kansas City businesses; it evolved through secretarial training and the development of Dickinson shorthand. Over the decades, the school underwent ownership change and strategic shifts toward individualized instruction, culminating in it adopting the Wright Business School name in 1990.

In 1994, Mission Group Kansas Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, acquired Wright Business School, and the Lenexa campus moved to Overland Park in 1997, consolidating its presence in the metropolitan area. Earlier, in 1982, the school was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Association of Independent Colleges and Schools, marking formal recognition of its educational programs. The institution currently operates in Overland Park with a mid-sized staff to deliver its education administration offerings to its students.
