WriteGirl is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Los Angeles, California, founded in 2001, operating in the writing and editing field. It offers programs that combine workshops, mentoring and publishing opportunities to help teen girls and gender-expansive youth develop creative writing, communication skills, and self-confidence. The organization also operates Bold Ink Writers for boys and co-ed groups, is a founding member of the Arts for Healing and Justice Network, and launched an online literary journal, Lines & Breaks, in December 2021.
