WVTM 13, the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham-Anniston NBC and MeTV affiliate station, has been serving Central Alabama for nearly 75 years, proudly engineering many broadcast television firsts in the state: from presenting the first program in color to transmitting the first HD images to the use of full automation technology.
