Wynstone Property Owners Association is a not-for-profit organization that manages a gated, self-sustaining golf course community in the Northwestern Illinois region. Located in the Village of North Barrington, the community sits on 750 acres with a 240-acre golf course and natural water features, and comprises 437 homesites including estate homes, maintenance-free homes, and golf villas. The association operates under covenants, conditions and restrictions and architectural guidelines, with on-site staff maintaining private roads, a water treatment plant, and common areas to support the community’s appearance and functioning. A dedicated public safety department provides around-the-clock security, gate access, traffic control, and health and safety first response, supported by an ABDi gate access system for guest management. Wynstone was developed in 1987 and is administered by the Wynstone Property Owners’ Association, a not-for-profit corporation governed by a board and staff.
