X3D ApS was founded in Denmark in August 2023 with the aim of offering service and solutions to functional imaging systems within nuclear medicine and with main focus on cardiac SPECT systems in North America. The basis of X3D was formed after the acquisition of all assets and IP rights of DDD-Diagnostic A/S, and a 1000m2 headquarter was established in Kvistgaard, a 30 min. drive north of Copenhagen, including warehouse, production and system test facilities, as well as offices for R&D, procurement and QA functions.

The owners and employees of X3D ApS are all former DDD key-employees with many years of extensive technical, clinical, and commercial experience within SPECT/Nuclear Medicine and adjacent technologies and applications. 

Through a close cooperation with Siemens Medical Systems (US) and Philips Medical US, X3D is now securing service support as well as life-time extension options for more than 2000 dedicated cardiac SPECT systems installed throughout the US in clinics and hospitals, all formerly manufactured by the OEM, DDD-Diagnostic A/S in Denmark. The cooperation includes sustaining activities such as development of replacements for obsolete spare-parts, optional upgrade programs and a repair service. 

X3D ApS will offer all aspects of service support for other former DDD-Diagnostic SPECT systems/gamma cameras installed around the world, including the QuantumCam, CorCam, NephroCam and SoloMobile systems. 

In early 2024, X3D is planning to expand the scope of business with its own branded system for the US market, including a green profile and extending the availability of a small footprint conventional cardiac SPECT system at an affordable price level and up-to-date acquisition PC solutions

The Danish X3D Team will continue 30 years of history of Gamma Camera and SPECT system production in Denmark with a continued global market support, and a clear vision to bring other solutions as we continue to grow our business.
