Xyte, Inc. (pronounced “excite”) is an American international corporation incorporated in Wisconsin in 1999 and headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. People are born with natural preferences. Using its Xyting Insight™ Assessment, Xyte, Inc. has identified and classified those preferences according to how a person thinks and processes information. Dr. Linda McIsaac and Gerry Klodt identified the different structures in the way people function intellectually which determines their predictable behavior. They incorporated this knowledge into an online assessment to measures people’s preferences. Xyte’s research and studies have led to a better understanding of “why” people do “what” they do, as well as understanding of their innate strengths. While people’s preferences can be influenced and adapted to their environment, preferences usually are the strongest indicators of what makes them happy. The Assessment (statistically Valid and Reliable) also identifies a person’s cognofile (cognitive profile).
