YachtAid Global is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 that coordinates disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and conservation initiatives through the yachting community. Based in Cardiff by the Sea, California, the group engages yacht owners, crews, and operators to participate in collaborative efforts across coastal communities worldwide, emphasizing timely, agenda-free projects that aim to save lives, alleviate suffering, and protect the environment. Since its inception, it has mobilized hundreds of yachts across numerous projects in many countries, supporting efforts aligned with sustainable development goals for 2030. The organization focuses on disaster response, humanitarian assistance, and ocean conservation, offering members of the superyacht community opportunities to contribute to these causes without pursuing a corporate agenda. A recent development noted in industry coverage is the continued collaboration with Tahiti Private Expeditions on the Operation Swimway conservation program, announced in 2022.
