Yamato Corporation is a Wisconsin-based machinery manufacturer that specializes in weighing systems for food packaging across the Americas. It functions as a subsidiary of Yamato Scale Co., Ltd., a Japanese company founded in 1920 and headquartered in Akashi. The business operates from Grafton, Wisconsin, serving markets throughout North, Central, and South America.

Their equipment includes combination weighers, checkweighers, and depositors designed to handle a range of product types—dry, wet, and frozen—across categories such as cheese, poultry, snacks, confectionery, prepared meals, and fresh produce. Yamato emphasizes direct engagement with customers, rather than distributing through third parties, to provide timely advice and support. A notable leadership development occurred in 2023 when Bill Pierce was appointed president by the board.
