Yates Chreitzberg Hughes Architects has over 39 years of experience developing architectural and design solutions that generate results. We are driven to provide design excellence, integrity, and commitment to our clients, large and small, throughout the Southeast.

YCH was created in 1984 by Dennis E. Yates, AIA. In 1987, long-time friend Michael Chreitzberg, AIA, joined YCH bringing architectural insight and design inspiration to the firm. Then, in 2008, William T. Hughes, AIA, LEED, was promoted to Principal as the practice continues to look forward and advance another generation of talented architects.
 
YCH is licensed to practice in numerous states around the country including: NC, SC, VA, FL, GA, and TN and the senior leadership is nationally certified by NCARB. Throughout our history, each and every project has been personally designed and managed by at least one of the three Principals; Dennis, Mike and Bill, creating a personal and collaborative approach with the highest standards of professional practice.
 
YCH has designed significant and diversified projects covering practically every form of major building type; new construction, additions, major renovations and facilities assessments. Our clients are in the Healthcare, Corporate, Municipal / Government, Education, Motor Sports and Grocery / Retail fields. Our commissions include nationally recognized Motor Sports Facilities, as well as LEED Gold Certified Healthcare Learning Environments.
