Yonkers Public Library is a public library system serving Yonkers and neighboring communities in New York. Founded in 1893, the system operates three branches, with the Riverfront Library serving as the main location and administrative hub. The Riverfront building is a four-story venue that includes a 450-seat theater, several meeting and study rooms, a local history collection, and a community art gallery, and it sits opposite the Yonkers train station with views of the Hudson River. The library is a member of the Westchester Library System and offers a broad program slate and a diverse collection that includes materials in multiple languages. In September 2024, Yonkers Public Library partnered with St. John's Riverside Hospital to launch Born to Read, an early literacy initiative.
