Yoopies operates a technology-enabled platform that connects families with caregivers for services such as babysitting and other well-being needs. It aims to make care services trustworthy, affordable and seamless by enabling users to search for options and book through a single interface. The service targets individuals and organizations seeking reliable care solutions, addressing the challenge of finding dependable providers in a convenient way. Based in Paris, Île-de-France, the company is mid-sized, with a workforce described as several dozen to a few hundred employees. Founded in 2011, Yoopies has expanded its platform over time, including the 2019 acquisition of HelperChoice, a Hong Kong-based platform connecting foreign domestic workers with families. In the broader technology-enabled marketplace for personal services, Yoopies positions itself as a European player focused on well-being for both individuals and corporate clients.
