Young Gates gives every kid access to a quality education in computer programming. It offers cutting-edge online technology education to students between the ages 9 and 18. The curriculum focuses on learning by doing; inquiry based learning and assisted practice.
YoungGates provides various programs based on the students level of exposure to computer science beginning from Scratch - Python – Java -Website Exposure - Android Apps - Data Science – Robotics making learning purposeful, meaningful and interesting.The program is hands on and self paced.
Founded by Gaurika  Gupta, Young Gates was born seeing parents frustrations in teaching kids learning how to code.
Even though stem education is encouraged through out the school years  but no programming classes(max 1 program in some schools) are offered in elementary/middle/high schools to understand/explore computer sciences.
The company offers different plans starting with an individual tutoring session running about $160 per month. Customers also can sign up for group classes that are capped at $100 per month.
“When you think about computer science education — since it’s such an important subject for kids — why aren’t they getting it?” Gaurika asked
As The Wall Street Journal notes, investing in coding could be the next big thing for Chinese investors in education technology.
“Coding is about the only course that has the potential to become as important as English for students and for the industry,” Zhang Lijun, a venture capitalist who backs Chinese edtech companies, told the WSJ. “But nobody knows when that’s going to happen.”
