Young Invincibles is a mid-sized nonprofit active in the public policy arena, headquartered in Washington, DC. It was founded in the summer of 2009 by Ari Matusiak and Aaron Smith, who sought to elevate the voices of young people in health care reform debates as their group grew beyond a campus setting. The organization represents young adults roughly aged 18 to 34 and aims to ensure their perspectives inform decisions about the nation’s future. The organization conducts policy research, shares personal stories from young Americans, designs campaigns to educate on important issues, informs and mobilizes its generation, and advocates to change the status quo. In March 2026, Young Invincibles launched Healthy Young America, a reimagined campaign focused on affordable, accessible, quality health care for young adults.
