Youth Mentoring Connection is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles that supports at-risk youth by pairing them with caring adult mentors and integrating these relationships into a structured group framework that provides resources to help them mature into productive, purpose-driven adults. It articulates a vision of a community where young people are truly seen and supported, and where society accepts responsibility for meeting the needs of all youth.

Its programs span worksite and community-based mentoring, rites of passage, surfing, a film academy, ECHO conversations in a safe space, and life-skills support. Reported outcomes include a graduation rate consistently above 95 percent, with the majority of graduates advancing to two- or four-year colleges. The organization operates with a small staff.
