Early Childhood Education Program The Sprout School provides high quality, full day preschool services in downtown Richmond for children between the ages of 2.5 and 5 years old. FOR SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE The YWCA Domestic Violence Program offers free comprehensive crisis services for survivors of domestic abuse and their families. The YWCA Domestic Violence Program serves women, men, and children in the Greater Richmond area. There is no cost to participate in the program. The YWCA Domestic Violence Program provides the following services: Individual and group counseling Access to a 24-Hour Regional hotline Emergency housing, if needed Safety planning Referrals to other services, as needed YWCA staff persons facilitate domestic violence support groups and individual counseling at our downtown location and confidential locations throughout the community. TEEN DATING VIOLENCE PREVENTION #whYWait Why wait to teach teens about healthy relationships? The YWCA Richmond is committed to taking a proactive approach to dating violence by providing educational workshops to the community. We have created a comprehensive teen dating violence awareness workshop and a bystander intervention workshop to address 11 to 17-year-olds.
