ZIPIT is a manufacturing-focused design house that originated from a 2006 Israeli design student project. It began with a bag made from a long, formless zipper that could be zipped into a bag and unzipped into a single zipper, illustrating its emphasis on inventive, durable design. The company now operates globally with a headquarters in Tel Aviv and a manufacturing and development center in Xiamen, plus a U.S. sales office in Peabody, Massachusetts and a presence in Germany. ZIPIT is recognized for its inventive sewing techniques and material choices, delivering products that combine clever, playful designs with affordability. Its goods are carried by leading mass merchants worldwide, and the brand has been featured in TV advertisements and publications while earning design prizes for its patented designs. The company describes its working environment as dynamic and creative, suitable for contributing to its growth.
