Østensjø Rederi is a family-owned company, established in 1974 by owner Johannes Østensjø. The company has since its beginning been a leading provider of offshore- and towage services worldwide. It operates a fleet of modern vessels, including tugs/mooring vessels, offshore service- and construction vessels, and accommodation vessels. The Østensjø group also delivers crew services to the shipping industry. 

Headquartered in Haugesund, Norway with regional offices in the UK, Poland, and Malta. Our vessels are operating worldwide.  

Østensjø's management is never afraid of investing in its people, fleet or pioneering new technologies to make its vessels safer, greener and more efficient. This has resulted in Østensjø being the first to introduce many technologically innovative solutions. 

The Company also took part in the establishment of DeepOcean AS in 1999 (sold in 2008) and Deepwell in 2006.
