Hinson Electrical Contractors of Kannapolis, Inc. began as a small family owned and operated business in the late 1960's.  We have worked hard to build and maintain our customer base through quality craftsmanship, integrity, and responsiveness.

Incorporated in 1972 as a service, residential and light commercial electrical contractor, we have grown into a 50-plus member operation offering electrical expertise in commercial, industrial and institutional installations.  We continue to strive to provide services and quality to ensure that all your electrical needs are met. 

Our fully licensed and insured electricians and staff have worked in a variety of markets and facilities, including commercial, educational, medical, religious and manufacturing. 

We hold an Unlimited License in the State of North Carolina for Electrical Contracting where we conduct the majority of our business. We are also licensed to work in the states of South Carolina and Virginia. We are fully insured and bondable for all projects.

We remain family owned and are currently operated by the second generation of the Hinson Family with the third generation now actively involved in the company. We continue to provide services and quality to ensure that all of your electrical needs are met.
