22ZERO is a Tennessee-based nonprofit that provides a non-invasive, non-clinical, peer-to-peer holistic intervention for military personnel, first responders, and their families. Its target participants include Armed Forces members, first responders, spouses, minor children in the home, and Gold Star and Green Star Families. The program is delivered remotely with 100% confidentiality, and trauma content is not shared or reported to the VA or employers. There are no fees for eligible participants, and most clients complete the work in about two sessions, with a small share needing three or four. Based in Pulaski, Tennessee, 22ZERO originated through independent research led by Dr. Arnell in partnership with Arizona State University beginning in 2022, with the first study published in 2024 and additional studies under peer review as of 2026.
