The goal of any biopsy system is to gather tissue and properly identify its pathology. Our system will incorporate multiple, unprecedented innovations to correctly find tissue which may be cancerous including:
- 3D mapping software for real-time image feedback during the procedure and to help in planning treatment
- A needle designed to take longer, uninterrupted, apex-to-base prostate samples
- Proprietary, variable-length actuator that is designed to adjust to more precise specimen lengths
- An innovative pathology carrier designed to protect and correctly identify each specimen
