A. B. Nicholas LLC operates in the financial services sector and provides access to credit line programs that are managed by major institutions and priced at wholesale rates. The firm serves real estate investors, franchise buyers, and buyers of businesses, with financing options intended to support expansion plans. It also operates a Certified Agent program that enables independent financial advisors to offer their clients a SIPC/FINRA-compliant stock loan and credit line program through affiliated institutions.

Through its LeverageLine offering, client accounts are held at three leading U.S. public institutions and are managed by experienced Certified Planner advisers who are FINRA registered. These advisers provide discounted rates and tailored terms at no additional cost, enhancing access to securities-based lines. The program emphasizes ongoing relationships among the client, the adviser, and the lending institution, while recognizing that final credit decisions rest with the lender. In December 2020, the firm announced the launch of BitLine, its third lending program.
