A+ Schools is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that coordinates supports for students, families, and school staff by engaging a broad network of community partners. It collaborates with schools, neighborhood organizations, corporations, foundations, and individual donors to ensure students arrive at school ready to learn and to foster environments where children want to be. The organization aims to help all children succeed across every school, every day. It convenes the Pittsburgh Learning Collaborative, a network of more than 100 organizations dedicated to holistic supports for students and their families, with a focus on ending chronic absenteeism through cross-organizational collaboration. In 2020, A+ Schools joined with the Latino Community Center and 412 Food Rescue to support the School Bus Stop Food Distribution Project.
