In just a few short years, A Silver Lining Foundation has gained tremendous momentum — not only in terms of dollars raised, but more importantly in terms of lives touched. Since our launch in 2002, we've provided over 450,000 people with information concerning cancer resource information, treatment options and support services. Through our BUY A MOM A MAMMOGRAM™ program 2,000 women have received information about and access to a cost free screening mammogram. We've also created a one-of-a-kind partnership with 311, Chicago's City Services hotline, which connects callers with cancer-related questions and concerns to us. And we're just getting started... Today, we face a real challenge as affordable healthcare continues to slip out of reach, swelling the ranks of the 47 million currently uninsured in our country. A Silver Lining Foundation hopes to be part of the answer to that challenge — to make sure no one falls through the cracks. We hope you'll join us in our mission. There is a silver lining!
