The brand was founded by dancewear designer Annette Alcover, who as the parent of a dancer, started designing dance costumes for her daughter Alejandra when she was five years old. The name AA Dance Costumes has the initials of its founder Annette Alcover.
According to Annette, she founded AA Dance Costumes with a simple goal, “To create affordable, elegant, and unique dance costumes; ones that can make a difference in the dance world”.

With offices in Miami, Florida, the brand has developed a distinctive and modern language of dancewear. All AA Dance Costumes collections are developed at its atelier in Miami, and are proudly MADE IN USA. Annette's designs showcase only the finest fabric and materials. The brand serves products including dance leotards, dance unitards, dance sets, dance tops, and dance bottoms.
