Aavia is a Brooklyn-based company operating in the wellness and fitness services space. Its daily mobile app helps people monitor and interpret how ovarian hormones influence daily life, including sleep quality, mood, injury risk, and libido. The platform provides personalized insights, predictions, and educational content about hormone cycles to support understanding and to help clinicians offer more efficient care. The company traces its origins to MIT, where a team that included an MBA, a product designer, and an electrical engineer developed the concept, beginning with a patented Smart Birth Control Pill Case before expanding into an all-in-one hormone health app for individuals who have ovaries. With a relatively small team, Aavia emphasizes delivering data-driven hormone health insights to users and assisting doctors in achieving faster diagnoses of hormone conditions.
