aboutGOLF is a spectator sports company based in Maumee, Ohio, delivering golf simulation software accompanied by entertainment features that make modern golf accessible anytime and to a broad audience. Its system combines data analytics with a hardware-enabled experience, using 3Trak machine-vision cameras to capture ball and club data, including spin rate and shot shape, with high accuracy. Beyond the simulation itself, the platform offers multimedia viewing and games to entertain families and provides options for advertising and club fitting to help venues enhance revenue, while preserving traditional golf experiences such as closest-to-the-pin and long-drive competitions.

The company's products target venues, clubs, and individual players seeking a social, data-driven golf experience in an indoor setting, combining sport with entertainment. It operates within the indoor golf and sports technology space, emphasizing connectivity and shared experiences through its platform. A recent development is a strategic partnership with D3 Sports Tech announced in October 2024, illustrating ongoing collaboration in the field.
