Accademia Costume & Moda (ACM) is an educational institution that trains professionals for the fashion and entertainment industries, covering design, communication, and management. Founded in 1964 in Rome by Rosana Pistolese, it remains based in Rome and expanded with a Milan campus opened in 2020. ACM offers accredited programs recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, including undergraduate degrees and master tracks in areas such as costume and fashion design, fashion editing and communication, fashion business, and related disciplines. The academy has a sizable alumni network that includes creative directors, designers, editors, stylists, and costume designers operating in Italy and abroad. It functions as a live laboratory for ideas and research, serving as a cultural link between fashion and costume education and connecting students with industry opportunities. A notable development in 2026 was a collaboration with Valentino Fashion Group for the Master in Alta Moda, Fashion Design.
