Achievements Unlimited is a first of its kind program in the state of Missouri. We provide day services to adults with autism and related disorders whose behavioral challenges may have prevented them from attending other programs in the past. We provide a safe, therapeutic environment that helps individuals build new skills and decrease unsafe behaviors. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the heart and framework of all our services and all clients receives behavior and occupational therapy within this framework.
In addition, we provide all individuals the opportunity to access their community and work to their capacity through our creative, microenterprise model. We have partnered with other non-profits and worked to build smaller "businesses within the business" so that clients may have the opportunity to learn job skills both on and off-site while making meaningful contributions to their community. In this way we build programs and support services around individuals, rather than trying to fit individuals into programs and services.
