For over 50 years, Adagio Health has improved the health and well-being of communities by providing essential health, wellness, and nutrition services. Today, it serves more than 120,000 patients and their families annually. While women’s health is a primary focus, services are also offered to men, women veterans, people with disabilities, and others in a welcoming environment. Adagio Health operates seven medical offices in western Pennsylvania and partners with more than 20 providers to offer care at over 70 sites across 23 counties. Many services are free for qualifying patients, and most insurance plans, including Medicaid, are accepted. Care includes gynecology, family planning (preconception counseling, basic infertility care, birth control, STI testing and treatment), preventive care (HIV and Hepatitis C testing, breast and cervical cancer screening, basic adult preventive care), prenatal care at select locations, and integrated behavioral health and care navigation services. Funding comes from federal and state grants, patient fees, and foundation, corporate, and individual contributions. Pennsylvania WIC is funded by the USDA. Adagio Health and the USDA are equal opportunity providers and employers.
