AdDefend GmbH is a Hamburg-based advertising services firm founded in 2015 that focuses on improving online reachability. It combines in-house software with broad cross-industry marketing experience to help clients access audiences blocked by technical barriers. Its international customer base—comprising publishers, agencies, and advertisers—uses AdDefend to extend the reach of online campaigns and enhance key metrics such as visibility, clicks, and conversions, with many reporting net reach increases exceeding 20 percent.

Positioned within the online advertising landscape, AdDefend targets campaigns that traditional channels struggle to access, offering a broader potential audience. The company operates with a small team in Hamburg and has engaged in collaborative initiatives, including a May 2019 study with the market research platform Appinio to explore aspects of adblock advertising.
