Adionics is a privately held French company founded in 2012 after five years of research, concentrating on the valorization of saline waters and the extraction of lithium. It developed a specialized extractant system, Flionex, intended to selectively recover lithium salts from brine streams. The company is based in Les Ulis, in the Île-de-France region, and operates in the metal ore mining industry. Its technology relies on a patented liquid-liquid extraction process to produce a purified lithium chloride concentrate, enabling direct lithium extraction as a means to reduce energy, water use, and production time in lithium projects. Adionics engages with a range of customers and partners, including Chile's ENAMI for DLE exploration and collaborations with Intrepid Potash and Aquatech on U.S. projects, and it has established a demonstration plant in Güemes, Argentina.
