Advanced Reactor Concepts, LLC (ARC) is developing the ARC-100, a 100 MWe small modular reactor designed for factory production. The reactor is sodium-cooled and metal-fueled, and it features a twenty-year refueling cycle with fixed fuel costs over that period. The concept builds on decades of experience from the EBR-II program and has been enhanced with ARC's proprietary innovations to form a fourth-generation solution for nuclear power. 

ARC targets energy markets worldwide, including both developed and developing regions, emphasizing non-proliferation features that support broader deployment. In 2017, ARC and GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy announced a collaboration to develop and license the ARC-100, with Canada identified as an initial deployment site and regulatory review through the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's Vendor Design Review process.
