Aer-Flo, Inc., founded in 1981 and based in Bradenton, Florida, manufactures specialty covers and containment products for multiple markets. It started by making tarps and covers for Florida's trucking and agriculture sectors and later expanded into the construction and environmental fields with Tough Guy Turbidity Barriers, becoming the world’s largest producer of turbidity barriers distributed through construction supply networks. In 2004 the company entered the sports cover market with Wind Weighted Baseball Tarps, self-ballasted and windproof covers designed for use around pitches and bases at a wide range of levels from youth leagues to Major League Baseball. Since then, Aer-Flo has broadened its sports portfolio to include products for baseball, softball, football, soccer, track and field, golf, and tennis, developing offerings in response to input from coaches, athletic directors, groundskeepers, and facility directors. All of its products are manufactured at its Bradenton facility, underscoring a domestic production base.
