Aeronautix, based out of Columbia, MO, specializes in the design, installation, and certification of aeronautical products, focusing primarily on: Part 23 general aviation, Part 25 commercial aviation, and UAS certification projects. We work with a suite of DERs and DARs that we have developed reliable and sustainable relationships with, for approval of specific discipline aspects of projects. In all, our breadth of knowledge covers decades of experience in the following core areas, including but not limited to: Program Management, Flight Test, Ground Test, HIRF and Lightning, Mechanical and Electrical Systems & Equipment, Powerplant, Structures, and Systems Safety. Over the breadth of these areas, Aeronautix is skilled in the coordination, production, and execution of certification plans, analyses, compliance reports, substantiation reports, test plans, test reports, and detail design, assembly, and installation drawing packages. As a part of coordinating testing activities, Aeronautix is also well versed in conducting conformities at the component level, and the installation level. Aeronautix also specializes in the design and analysis of components and systems, utilizing both 2D and 3D CAD/CAM packages. When necessary, we employ the use of modern FEA and CFD methods as well as classical techniques for structural, thermal, and flow analyses. Originally based in Overland Park, KS, Aeronautix opened a 1,550 sq. ft. office in Columbia in 2014. In addition to this workspace, we operate a 3,200 sq. ft. hangar space at Columbia Regional Airport (KCOU). Both offices offer room for expansion to suit our customer’s needs. Some examples of our past work include: Integrated Glass Cockpits, Oxygen Systems, Navigation Systems, Ice Protection Systems, FLIR Integration, Starter Generator Installation, Fire Protection Modification, Air Conditioning System Integration, Boeing Tanker Conversions, Engine Conversions, and two Full Type Certifications.
