The Africa Tourism Association is a global trade organization that promotes travel to Africa and strengthens partnerships across the continent. It engages both public and private stakeholders in the international travel and tourism ecosystem, bringing together African governments, tourism ministers, bureaus and boards, airlines, cruise lines, hotels and resorts, frontline travel sellers and providers, tour operators, travel agents, and related industries. ATA collaborates with the African Union Commission to advance sustainable development of tourism throughout Africa. Its annual events in Africa and the United States convene industry leaders to discuss priorities and shape the region’s tourism agenda. The organization is based in New York, New York.
