AIA Charlotte is the largest section of AIA North Carolina, the fifth largest chapter in the country, and in itself is one the largest components of the American Institute of Architects. AIA Charlotte empowers architects as transformative leaders shaping our communities. 

The AIA and its 12-county Charlotte Regional component exist to serve the needs of its members and to provide leadership and service to the public–at–large for a range of issues affecting the built environment. The 900 plus members of AIA Charlotte have available a range of continuing education, volunteer and other professional opportunities. 

Participation within the organization is open at many levels, including membership for registered professionals, associate members, and sponsorship opportunities for the many allied suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers to the profession.
