Al Rawabi Dairy Company is a Dubai-based dairy producer and the largest locally based operation in the UAE by production capacity and herd size. It began in 1989 with 500 imported cows from Holland and now manages a herd of about 13,000 cattle, including 8,000 milking cows, on a Dubai farm equipped with cow showering and cooling and other environmental systems. The company processes substantial volumes of dairy and juice products, with around 275,000 liters of dairy and 150,000 liters of juices produced daily; at peak capacity this can reach about 500,000 liters per day. Al Rawabi has been a pioneer in packaging and product development in the GCC, introducing plastic bottles in 1991, along with pasteurized juices and functional products such as Nutree Boost, Super Milk, and Vitamin D milk to address regional health needs. Its products serve customers across the UAE and broader GCC and the company holds certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14003, ISO 22000, and HACCP. Recent developments include a 2025 partnership with Dubai Police to host awareness sessions on the dangers of illegal substances and a 2026 memorandum of understanding with Al Dahra Group to deepen UAE agri-food collaboration.
