Evaluate all components of bridges and bridge culverts, In order to apply condition and appraisal ratings to each structure in the database of the Alabama Bridge Information Management System, in the Sixth Division area, to ensure the continued safe use of the structures. Collect data such as field measurements, quantities, locations and other pertinent information for bridge repairs, bridge replacement, plan preparation, maintenance activities, response to inquiries and requests by the Maintenance, Bridge Rating, Construction Sections, etc. Supervise and schedule inspections and maintenance activities for Sixth Division personnel. Train less experienced personnel.
