The Alaska Chamber is a private, non-profit organization that acts as the voice for Alaska’s business community in government relations. It represents more than 700 members and works to promote a healthy business environment across the state. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the chamber supports both small and larger enterprises through advocacy and related member services. The organization is governed by a board of directors totaling 80 members, with seats allocated from Senate districts, at-large members, local chambers, and outside chambers. Its history traces back to 1953, when it began as the All Alaska Chamber of Commerce before evolving into the Alaska State Chamber of Commerce and later adopting its current name; in 2025 it remained active, attending the Alaska Business Summit and announcing the Premier Business Award recipients.
