Alcova Capital Management is a direct lending firm with a focus on mid-market commercial real estate with typical loan sizes of $5-50 million in premier, more liquid markets across the country. Alcova provides creative short-term financing solutions to commercial real estate owners. Alcova's bridge capital is utilized to finance real estate acquisitions, repositioning and development opportunities in major U.S. markets. Loans which include first mortgages, B-notes, mezzanine debt and preferred equity are made across property types and typically price at 8-11% with a duration of 9-36 months. Loan proceeds may include reserves to cover interest shortfalls and property repositioning costs according to a business plan, which will allow a borrower to refinance with a more conventional loan upon completion and/or stabilization.
