Alexanne Stone is a freelance artist in the Asheville, North Carolina area.  For over 30 
years, she has been drawing and painting.  Her background includes graphic art where 
she has authored and published numerous newsletters, print ads, brochures and 
marketing copy.

A San Francisco theater, television, and print industry veteran, Alexanne has many years 
of theater makeup training and experience.  In addition to canvas palettes, Alex enjoys 
working in "Moulage" (injury simulation makeup) in other words...Blood, Guts and Gore!!

As former Director of Michigan's Kent County Medical Reserve Corps, with a 4-year 
background in emergency and disaster preparedness, Alex has participated in several  
emergency management simulation exercises.  Adding realism to the preparation for our 
first responders means that they get the chance to practice for real events.  "Moulage" 
(Injury Simulation Makeup) has been part of her art palette for the past 4 years.  Visit the

look very real.  

Always passionate about her work as an artist, Alexanne is preparing to teach both group 
and private art lessons.  

An original greeting card artist, Alexanne's cards sell in stores around the nation as well as on etsy.
