Thank you for your interest in the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM) . Sadly, each year in Illinois, hundreds of people die, and thousands are injured senselessly because of drunk driving . AAIM  provides programs throughout Illinois to prevent impaired driving and assist victims of drunk/distracted driving crashes .

Since 1982, AAIM has been providing various programs to bring awareness to the dangers of drunk driving and underage drinking . Our efforts include: crash victim support during court proceedings, tough legislative initiatives, challenging judges and prosecutors to do a better job, educating adults and children and encouraging law enforcement. AAIM was the first grassroots citizen group incorporated in Illinois to fight drunk and drugged driving, and we are the only organization to provide financial assistance directly to needy crash victims suffering financial hardship.

 AAIM works to educate the public about the devastation caused by impaired driving, underage drinking and other dangerous driving decisions. To solve these problems, it takes people just like you, who are genuinely concerned about the loss of innocent lives and can help make people aware of the consequences of impaired driving .

We are proud of the lives saved, but for AAIM the tragic toll of intoxicated and irresponsible driving is still way too high . We have a long way to go and many lives to save . We hope you will join us in our efforts.
