Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is a nonprofit network of tuition-free public charter middle and high schools based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2004, it serves predominantly Black and Latine communities across the city, operating 25 schools that aim to enable students to reach high levels of achievement regardless of ZIP code or background. The network currently serves more than 12,500 scholars and has about 20,000 alumni, with scholars of color comprising 97% of the student body. The organization has earned recognition from national and state education authorities and research bodies, including the U.S. Department of Education, the California Department of Education, U.S. News & World Report, Stanford CREDO, and USC Rossier School of Education. It operates within the broader nonprofit education sector and is part of the charter-school movement in the Los Angeles area. In 2025, Alliance partnered with Community Foundation Ireland.
