Alliant International University is a private, WASC-accredited higher education system offering graduate studies in psychology and mental health, education, business and management, international affairs, criminology, and law, as well as bachelor’s degrees and certificates. Its San Diego campus sits in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of eastern San Diego, about ten miles inland from the ocean and fifteen miles northeast of downtown, serving a mix of graduate and undergraduate students. On this campus, roughly 1,200 graduate students and 150 undergraduates enroll annually across several schools and programs. Alliant comprises five schools and is part of a larger network that includes seven California campuses and three international locations, with a total student body exceeding 4,000. The five schools are the California School of Professional Psychology, Hufstedler School of Education, California School of Forensic Studies, Alliant School of Management, and the San Francisco and San Diego Law Schools. The institution emphasizes multicultural and international competence as a core pillar of its mission, and in 2024 expanded its nursing and health sciences offerings with new graduate programs, including a Master of Occupational Therapy and a Nurse Executive program.
