AMAG Austria Metall AG is a supplier of primary aluminum and premium cast and rolled aluminum products. At our integrated site in Ranshofen, Austria we fully leverage our core competencies in recycling, casting, rolling, heat-treatment, and surface finishing. With a 75-80 % share of scrap in the raw material mix we set the industry benchmark regarding recycling. Thanks to our investment in the hydro-electric powered Canadian smelter Alouette, we are also at the forefront when it comes to the sustainable production of primary aluminum. In the AMAG components division, with its headquarters in Übersee am Chiemsee, the competence and many years of experience in the production of ready-to-install metal parts for the aerospace industry are bundled. Our product portfolio comprises high-quality aluminium flat rolled products in the form of coils, sheets and plates as well as recycling foundry alloys in the form of ingots, sows and liquid aluminium.
